Welcome to Arco Music Academy
Arco Music Academy was founded in Sydney in 2012 by Fox Chan as a place for musicians to train to a professional standard and to be exposed to a professional work environment from a young age.
After its establishment, Arco Music Academy expanded its outreach to other places within Sydney. Originally based primarily in Hurstville, Arco Music Academy opened an additional academy in Artarmon allowing for more students from Northern Sydney to make use of Arco Music Academy’s professional services and teachings.
Arco Music Academy has also continued to grow throughout the years in numbers with currently 21 instrumental teachers and 128 Students. With a high professional standard, Arco Music Academy has been invited to play at many high-profile events and local government events, with Arco Music Academy’s All Stars Ensemble being the most recent with their performance for the Australian Prime Minister, Scott Morrison. Additionally, students past and present of Arco Music Academy have achieved great musical fiets, such as the concertmaster of Arco Music Academy’s Orchestra program successfully auditioning into an american music college or one of Arco’s pianists competing in the 5th Franz Liszt Competition for Young Pianists successfully getting into the 2nd round and immediately receiving an invitation to participate in competitions in Singapore and Russia.
Currently, Arco Music Academy has created many different orchestras and programs, including the Orchestra program, Chamber Music Program, Pre Rising Stars Training Program and school links program.
Arco Music Academy also has international ties with the Cleveland Institute Of Music. These ties allow the students at Arco Music Academy to attend masterclasses held by the Cleveland Institute of Music. Additionally, this connection with them allows for students here to study from some of the worlds best, through a long distance education program established with the Cleveland Institute of Music. This program is available to all students enrolled at Arco Music Academy.
