Piano Teacher (On Leave)
Started playing the piano at the age of 8, is currently studying masters of music at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music with full scholarships. Ting has won prizes in national and international piano competitions, such as first prize at the 7th Anton Garcia Abril International piano competition, 3rd prize at the 5th Campillos International piano competition, first prize at the Taiwan Taichung Jazz International piano competition, special prize at the World Music international Competition, first prize at Sydney St George Piano Competition in open Championship, and Gold medal and best classical sonata prize at the 4th Thailand International Piano Competition in 2015.
Ting was the winner of the “theme and variation Emerging Artist” of the year in 2014 in Sydney, Australia. Ting has performed Concerts and recitals in Australia, Taiwan, china, Singapore, Spain, Germany, Italy, USA, recent major performance including Liszt Piano Concerto no.1 E flat Major with the national Taiwan Symphony Orchestra Liszt Concerto no.2 In A Major with Thailand Philharmonic Ochestra. Ting has studied and performed for several well-known musicians and professors, including: Paul Rickard Ford, Piers Lane, Natasha Vlassenko, Imogen Cooper, Ivo Pogorelich, Jacques Rouvier, Stephan Hough, Arie Vardi, Gwhyneth Chen, etc.
