Ms Liyu Liao
Piano Teacher
Liyu began her piano studies at the age of eight, graduated in Bachelor of Music and currently undertaking her Master degree. Liyu has studied with some renown teachers from Central Conservatorium of Music (Beijing, China), Korea, Ukraine and Russia. Liyu was awarded 3rd prize in the 2016 Sydney International Music Festival Music Star Contest. She has performed as a solo pianist in many important concerts such as Energising Silence Concert; Creativity Unlimited Festival etc. Apart from her concert committments, Liyu also interested in secondary school music education, she became one of the qualified and certified NSW Secondary Music Teacher, helped many students with their HSC exam with great success.
Through her musical experiences, Liyu has developed a passion for teaching, and aims to integrate artistry and technical proficiency in students of all levels and ages. Her students achieved great results in examinations and competitions.
