In 2017 she also performed as a soloist with the City Steel Strings as a result of winning first place in Wollongong Eisteddfod. Following her Music HSC performance, she has been nominated for encore 2020. She has also been learning the piano since the age of 6, and continues to play at a high level. She was awarded with high distinction in grade 8 AMEB course for piano to assist her studies in music making, and also performed as a soloist for both the violin and piano in Melbourne Polart Festival 2015. Being one of the youngest members of the Kowalik family, she aims to follow the footsteps of her older siblings who are in one of Australia’s leading ensembles the Orava Quartet. She hopes to pursue her dream as a professional musician and continues to seek opportunities in the world of music studying in Sydney Conservatorium and overseas.
