We are extremely excited to announce the Arco Music Academy Chamber Orchestra has been invited by Mr David Coleman MP to perform at the Chinese Community Associations Leaders with the Prime Minister, Hon Malcolm Turnbull MP. As the first chamber orchestra established in Hurstville, AMACO quickly gained recognition within the community with its successful debut concerts at Penshurst RSL Club and Homewood Care. The AMACO Musical Director Shilong Ye has bought beautiful music alongside with Arco Music Academy teaching staff at this wonderful occasion hosted by Mr David Coleman MP.
There are many words you could choose when it comes to describing these wonderful young musicians of Arco Music Academy Chamber Orchestra, but according to our Prime Minster Hon Malcolm Turnbull MP, he simply told the players after the performance, "Well played." The Chinese Ambassador Ma certainly agreed with that, who was also there last night to enjoy the impressive performance from AMACO. Congratulations to our young orchestra! We cannot thank David Coleman MP enough for inviting us to this amazing event, and we'd like to thank our wonderful staff Su Choung and Li Gu who were there from the beginning to the end of our performance. AMACO Musical Director Shilong Ye certainly had a big smile on his face after the performance!
As promised, here's the photo of AMA Chamber Orchestra with Prime Minister Hon Malcolm Turnbull MP, Ambassador Ma Zhaoxu, Consul General Li Huaxin, and David Coleman MP after our successful performance at the Chinese Community Association Leaders Dinner. We would like to thank everyone for your continuous support and certainly welcome new members to join our ever-growing family.
