The ARCO Music Academy not only trains musicians, but also encourages them to develop their skills in performance. They are trained in a range of genres and instruments, with many of them already performing professionally.
The ARCO Music Academy manages a roster of talent, each of them talented in their area of expertise.
To request to hire talent from the ARCO Music Academy, please contact us with your request. A member of staff will contact you within 7 working days to confirm your request. At this point, you will be required to confirm your event and payment for talent.
Event Considerations
Please consider the following points as you are planning your event and booking your talent:
- Performers will expect payment, and this should include consideration of rehearsal and travel time for all members of an ensemble or the accompanist, if required, for a solo performer.
- You should consider the type and size of the venue, and the number of guests, to determine suitability and audibility of a solo musician or ensemble in the event space.
- You should consider if a power outlet for sound equipment available for performers if require
- You should consider if a running sheet or program required for the musicians
- You should consider if musical interludes be required during a ceremony?
- You should consider whether your talent will need chairs without arms if they need to sit to perform.
- You should consider if there is adequate lighting, and a covering in case of rain
- You should consider if the talent is covered for suitable public liability and workers compensation insurance in accordance with current legislation
- You should consider that, if the event is cancelled on short notice, the talent will expect a cancellation fee.
