Annie began her piano studies at the age of six, under the tutelage of Rena Mammadova.
She continued her pre-college music studies in the Rising Stars Program at the Sydney
Conservatorium of Music, where she begun to perform regularly as a soloist and chamber
musician. She went on to obtain her LmusA a with Distinction. She was awarded first prize
in the 2019 Golden Classical Music Awards International Competition, 2016 Sutherland
and St George Youth Music Awards as well as garnered multiple prizes in eisteddfods
throughout Sydney, over the years. Annie has been a recipient of various scholarships
including the Theme and Variations Piano Foundation Award, Sydney Scholars Award,
George and Margaret Henderson Scholarship and the PJV & MAH Cromack Memorial
Scholarship. She has performed as a soloist at the Sydney Opera House, in Gisborne,
New Zealand as part of a Summer Concert Series in support of the Gisborne International
Music Competition and has been recently invited to perform at the Weill Recital Hall at
Carnegie Hall. She has had the opportunity to participate in masterclasses with Dominique
Merlet, Orli Shaham, Alessio Bax and Alexey Sokolov.
Annie is currently studying with Natalia Ricci at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music.
