Montanna Teh is an experienced performer and music teacher from Sydney who began her cello studies at the age of eight. As a keen musician, Montanna has been actively involved in orchestras, chamber ensembles, bands and choirs from a young age, performing on cello, bass guitar and piano. In 2015, Montanna was a featured cellist in Neutrogena’s worldwide commercial campaign, “What Makes a Woman Beautiful”, which debuted at the 2016 Oscars. Montanna is also a classically trained Soprano and has performed in West Side Story, Mary Poppins, Grease the Arena Tour and High School Musical. As an accomplished songwriter, Montanna has co-written tracks for children off the Voice Kids Australia and her own songs have made the finals of the ACMF Songwriting Competition.


Currently studying at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, Montanna is a passionate educator who brings a fun yet methodical approach to all of her classes. Montanna is well versed in the NSW School curriculum and HSC Music 1, 2 and Extension requirements, and enjoys guiding her students through the syllabus to ensure they are well prepared
