AUDITION Requirements
1. Solo piece of your choice: The adjudicators will listen to one piece of your choice, of no more than 4 mins (if the work itself lasts more than 5 minutes, you can still play it in the audition and the adjudicators will stop you when the time is up. The applicant also needs to provide a copy of your own choice of music for the adjudicators.
2. Orchestral Excerpts: The orchestral excerpts will be sent to the applicants prior to the audition. Applicants need to print out the excerpts, practise and bring them on the day of the audition.
3. The candidate may be asked to play major and minor scales of any key the candidate has studied, usually 2 octaves or more

Why AMACO
In 2020 AMACO will provide weekly orchestral traning for musicians across 2 orchestras: AMACO and AMA Sinfonia. Our program is tailored for each individual to ensure everyone is under the careful guidance of our artistic staff. AMACO teaches teamwork, discipline, dedication, leadership and a commitment to excellence.

AUDITIONS
Every new applicant and existing AMACO musician must audition. A non-refundable audition fee is payable with your application
NEW MUSICIANS $80
Current AMACO MUSICIANS $50
2021 Participation Fees
Arrangements for the payment of the 2021 participation fees are required upon accepting a place in Arco Music Academy Chamber Orchestras and must be in place before rehearsals commence. There are a number of payment options available including our pay by instalment option which has been designed to help ease the financial pressure on families by spreading out the payment of fees over 4 term instalments.

Opportunity scholarship applicants will be notified by email if they have been successful in receiving a reduced participation fee in 2020. This amount will be reflected on their acceptance form.
Please note that all fees are non-refundable.
Participation Fee Options
Invoice are provided in your '2021 AMACO Audition Result' email to 2020 enrolment forms which must be completed in full before invoice due date. AMACO is provided for musicians interested in paying by other means (cash, cheque, EFT, instalments). Please contact AMACO on contact@arcomusic.com.au if the payment amount on your invoice is incorrect.
Fees paid in full by (cash, cheque, EFT)
Choose your preferred method of payment on submission of the enrolment form and AMACO will contact you to finalise the 2021 participation fee.
Fees paid automatically over 4 quarter instalments
Families have the option to pay the fees over 4 quarter by direct debit or cash, cheque payment. Please note that there will be a small administration fee for this option.
